. . o n . . T a p e

A project dreamt up to benefit both kids and elderly folks.
Basically, kids read stories, I record them, make a tape and give it to adult homes
for those folks to have what I like to think of as 'kids on demand'.
Personally I get energized being around kids and hearing the energy in
their voices, so it just made sense that others would like to get a dose
of that 'drug' too ... so was born ... Tales on Tape.

Two years going now, I started working with the Suttons Bay Montessori school
by having the kids read classics, but quickly ran into copywrite problems
. . . drat ... so this year I asked the
kids to write their own works which was even more fun.

Year one was an experiment in which I donated all my time,
this year I was blessed to receive a grant through the Suttons Bay Freindship Center
from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural affairs through its regranting agency,
The Traverse Area Arts Council.
Thank you to all!

Yes, donations are accepted with great appreciation
so this program can continue forward.
Ideas and assistance are also appreciated.
